SundanceTV’s original series “Rectify” is on its fourth and final season. With two episodes in, the Ray McKinnon-created drama stars Aden Young as Daniel, a man who was wrongfully convicted for the murder of his girlfriend and put on death row at the age of 18. He’s later released from prison after the discovery of conflicting DNA test results and begins his life as a free man.

Ahead of episode 3, titled “Bob & Carol & Ted Jr & Alice,” IndieWire has an exclusive clip featuring Young and Caitlin FitzGerald, who portrays Chloe. The video begins with her telling Daniel that she Googled him.

“What do you find when you Google Daniel Holden,” he asks. “Anything you want to find,” Chloe replies.

The last episode focused more on Amantha (Abigail Spencer), Janet (J. Smith-Cameron), Teddy (Clayne Crawford) and the rest of the Holden/Talbot clan. This third episode will see more of Daniel as he continues to adjust to group living, which is further complicated by his new roommate. Janet, Daniel’s mother, also plans to visit her son.

Series creator McKinnon previously told IndieWire that he had an image of how the show was going to end, but that all changed when he wrote the final script.

“The conclusion that I found that felt right was not the one that I had an image of two years ago,” McKinnon stated. “That didn’t happen, really, until late in the process. It was different. But it felt right.” Adding, “I found what I believed to be the most truthful stoppage of the story. Because it’s going to continue to go on in some unseen way.”

SundanceTV airs new episodes of “Rectify” Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
